Soft unveil of New Premier League | North Shore MA Basketball Skills League
Premier Hoops, #1 basketball skills training program in MA is very excited to announce that we will be running a new skill development league on the North Shore of Massachusetts for boys and girls!!
The league offers top level ball-handling, shooting, game-play, defense, and passing drills along with the some of the best basketball coaches in MA!
The new “Premier League” will run from Late March until Early June!

Why NEW “Premier League”?
The goal for the Premier League is to have a lot of FUN and develop skills through competitive game play and more ball touches.
Develop skills and improve conditioning during the week!
Elite basketball ball-handling, shooting, and conditioning drills.
Compete in “league games” and “playoffs”!
Middle school division and high school division (teams split evenly)
Best basketball skills clinicians and coaches in MA!No parent coaching, all players will be coached and trained by Premier Hoops Coaches (including north shore varsity head coaches)
Skills Nights
There are three (3) possible nights for elite skill development.
**Players can sign up for skills right away without trying out for “league” portion with two options: Once per week or three times per week!
· “Skills and Endurance” in Danvers, MA
· “Guard-Oriented Perimeter Play” in Reading, MA
· “Conditioning and Open Gym Pick-up” in Danvers, MA
League Night
There is one (1) night of “League” play in Danvers, where athletes are put in teams and play in competitive refereed games.**Players must make at least one evaluation night in order to be placed on a team for the Spring League.
· 7 regular season games + playoffs!
· Every team has a Premier Hoops Coach (no parent coaching!)
· No more than 10 players per team!
· League Games will be played at Essex Aggie High (bordering Danvers, MA) in Hathorne, MA right off of Rt 1 and 95!
League Divisions
The “Premier League” is split into two divisions:
· Middle School Division (4-7 grade)
· High School Division (8-11 grade)
Elite 3rd graders may participate based on skill level. Also, players may be moved up or down based on skill level.
What if an athlete does not make “League” Play?If a player does not make it into the “league games” portion, they can still train and improve in the skill development portion of the league. *Based on performance, some players may be bumped up and asked to play in the league games as the season advances!*
What is “Premier Hoops Select”?
Players from the league may also be “selected” to play on Premier Hoops Select, which is the “top” Premier Hoops Team for that age group. This team will have separate team practices and will also play in weekend tournaments throughout the season!
We are expecting players from all over the state of Massachusetts to play in the New Premier League and Premier Select. Specifically coming from these cities:
Amesbury, Beverly, Boxford, Danvers, Essex, Hamilton, Haverhill, Ipswich, Lynnfield, Manchester, Georgetown, Gloucester, Groveland, Marblehead, Merrimac, Middleton, Nahant, Newbury, Newburyport, Peabody, Rockport, Rowley, Salem, Salisbury, Saugus, Swampscott, Topsfield, Whenham, West Newbury, and Southern New Hampshire!
Evaluation Dates/Times
Evaluations for the New All Girls Spring Premier League will be held in January and February. The “league” is split into two divisions: Middle School (4-7 grade) and High School (8-11 grade). *Elite 3rd graders may tryout*
